Wheeling’s known for its international cuisines and Restaurant Row along the west bank of the Des Plaines River. This stretch of Milwaukee Avenue is home to Bob Chinn’s, Buca di Beppo, Cooper’s Hawk, Louie’s Boston Fish Market, Saranello’s, Spears, Superdawg, and many more. The Wheeling area offers visitors plenty to explore, including outdoor nature paths, an outdoor water park, a dine-in movie theater, cafes, and a nearby golf course. In addition to the over 75 food establishments, Wheeling also offers nightlife options such as bars, taverns, and seasonal concerts. Wheeling is within minutes of regional shopping destinations, less than an hour from downtown Chicago, and about 20 minutes from the Chicago Botanic Garden and the famous Ravinia outdoor music venue.
