Project Updates

9.1.2016
Construction is 95% complete at the Elmhurst Road intersection, with no further lane closures expected.  Temporary traffic signals are in place until final wiring and timing is performed on the new permanent traffic signal structures.  All four corners now have sidewalks, and sod has been installed as well.

8.19.2016

Construction and lane closures continue at the Elmhurst Road intersection. On Monday, August 22, lane closures on Elmhurst Road are scheduled to be removed. However, lane closures will be installed on Dundee Road for approximately 10 days in order to complete pavement patching as well as the patching of remaining hand holes. This will complete all permanent lane closures necessary for this project. However, temporary lane closures are still possible once the contractor begins installing all permanent traffic signal equipment.
