A Dog Run is an area enclosed on one or more sides by a fence with either a concrete, gravel or paved floor, intended for holding dogs or other animals for any length of time.

Dog Run Locations

• Front Yards - Prohibited
• Rear Yards - Follow rules for fences
• Side Yards - Prohibited except when the side yard is abutting the neighbor's rear yard and there is more than 25 feet to the adjoining residence

Permit

A fence permit (PDF) is required for the construction of a dog run.
